Our outpatient treatment program takes a holistic approach of different therapies with the most experienced and professional staff in the field of treatable psychological disorders designed to provide long-term care for individuals seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Treatment in the outpatient program is an intense, focused experience. Each outpatient visit is filled with structured therapeutic activities, individual and group therapy sessions, as well as scheduled and random urinalysis and breathalyzer screenings. Clients attend 12–step meetings in the community to establish a sober support system. Additionally, family members are encouraged to participate in family counseling sessions and to provide a strong support system for their loved ones. The outpatient program encourages integration into the workforce, an education program or volunteer program, which validates the clients’s self-worth and achievement of long-term recovery.
Individually Tailored Treatment
As part of the outpatient program, each participant is assigned a primary therapist and case manager. This team is responsible for assessing and working with each participant to establish an individualized treatment/recovery plan and post–treatment recommendations designed to support ongoing recovery.
We believe that one size does not fit all and each treatment plan should be tailored to the individual receiving the treatment. Each person who enters the program has a unique set of circumstances, family relationships, livelihoods, upbringings, socio-economic backgrounds, and experiences. Accordingly, a detailed assessment is performed to aid in the development of an individualized treatment plan by the treatment team.

Our outpatient program consists of group sessions aimed to aid in emotional, physical, and spiritual development. We find that when associating with people who have common problems and are working to achieve the same goals, the chance for success increases dramatically. When in a group of their peers, clients are better able to relate and process the matter at hand and offer support to one another. For years many of our clients used drugs and alcohol to aid them in social situations. We’ve seen that participating in group activities allows them to practice social interaction without the use of drugs and alcohol thus building confidence and self-esteem. Clients are able to implement the recovery skills developed during the course of their program and also have the opportunity to process their experience in a safe and supportive group environment. By doing this, they begin to establish a foundation for life long recovery.
Soba provides therapeutic, process oriented, and psycho-educational sessions including but not limited to:

Soba’s overall goal is that clients will possess a better understanding of the disease of addiction, recognize the necessity and importance of participation in a 12-step program and learn the necessary life skills to thrive in an alcohol and drug free environment. The end of the program provides the beginning of a life long journey of recovery that is measured as continued abstinence from all substances and the ability to be happy, joyous and free in one’s daily affairs.
